About Cow Coach
"During my 9-year career as a veterinarian and researcher, I was exposed to dairy technology and data on a daily basis. Soon I became convinced that precision livestock farming could be of major significance for farmers, and that innovative technologies could contribute to a more efficient and sustainable production.
Unfortunately, I also noted that these perceived benefits not always materialize in practice. Expensive investments, such as milking robots and other forms of automation, do not necessarily lead to the desired results and the potential of collected data often remains unfulfilled. I felt there was a need for more independent, science-based support, with a focus on the needs of the farmer.
That's why I founded the consultancy Cow Coach in 2019. With simple interventions, we can often achieve major efficiency gains on farms. Better robot utilisation, healthier animals, less downtime and time loss, ... Together we strive for the goal you have in mind!"
